Sarah Gediman - National Museum of American History's Archives Center

Sarah worked with and processed raw archival materials for the National Museum of American History's Archives Center. She worked with a range of primary documents on topics ranging from censorship in the '60s, to the history of music in New York City, to the beginning of vegetarian cooking in America. After going through collections, she wrote descriptions of newly processed materials for the Smithsonian Online Virtual Archives. Sarah also worked with researchers and answered inquiries about our collections.

In addition to interacting with the incredible resources in the NMAH Archives, Sarah visited archives in other Smithsonian museums including the Archives of American Art, the National Museum of Natural History Archives, the National Museum of African Art Archives, and the Archives of American Gardens.
