The 2026 History & Philosophy Convocation will be held in Smith Memorial Hall from 1:30-2:30 PM on Saturday, May 16. Doors open for guests and participants at 12:30. We invite all students earning degrees in History or Philosophy since Fall 2025 to participate in this ceremony, including those who intend to graduate in August 2026.
Students are required to wear academic regalia for the History & Philosophy Convocation and for the university-wide Commencement ceremony. A professional photographer will take several photos of each graduate during the History & Philosophy Convocation. Graduates will be contacted via email about viewing and purchasing photos.
The use of tickets for the 2026 ceremony has yet to be determined, look for an update on this in late February.
