In the summer of 2024, graduate student Cade Meinel traveled to the Sanisera Archaeological Institute on the island of Menorca, where he helped excavate a Roman basilica. He was the recipient of the 2024 J. David Hoeveler Summer Research Scholarship.
In the summer of 2024, graduate student Grace Maria Eberhardt traveled to the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Long Island and the American Philosophical Society archive in Pennsylvania. She was one of the recipients of the 2024 William and Virginia Waterman Scholarship.
