I hope you are all well and sheltering in place in relative health and harmony.  We are very sad that the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the cancellation of the Department of History's annual awards celebration this April.  Please know that our students and their families are in our thoughts during this uncertain and stressful time.

All of us have been through quite trying times this semester, yet, despite these completely unforeseen circumstances, many of our award recipients were able to forge forward with their studies, research, and writing with immense dedication.  We hope that this presentation will convey our pride in the scholarly achievements of our undergraduate students, our graduate students, and our faculty.

It is with grateful appreciation that we recognize our esteemed benefactors who continue to make these awards possible year after year.  We also wish to offer our special thanks to the families who have encouraged and supported their students. In ordinary circumstances, these would be outstanding achievements. This year we hope you know how extraordinary you are!

It is an honor to present our 2019-2020 History award recipients.  Congratulations!!

With warm wishes for continued good health,

Dana Rabin

Professor and Interim Chair
