Awards & Internships
In her time at Illinois, Marica has worked as an undergraduate intern at the Illinois History and Lincoln Collections. She has been awarded the William and Virginia Waterman Scholarship in Academic Excellence in 2024 and the Walter N. Breymann Scholarship for Outstanding Undergraduate History Majors in 2023.
Favorite memory
Her favorite memory was visiting Prague Castle, the site of the Second Defenestration of Prague, during her time abroad in the Czech Republic with the history department.
Plans after college
Marica plans to go into teaching at either the middle or high school level.
