In addition to the History major, Kaizha has completed majors in Political Science and in Gender & Women's Studies. She is a James Scholar and a member of the Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law Honors Fraternity.

Since January 2021, Kaizha has interned the Office of State Representative Carol Ammons, serving the Champaign-Urbana community. Kaizha serves as a mentor at the TRiO Upward Bound College Prep Academy and as a Senior Resident Advisor for UIUC University Housing. She spent Summer 2019 in Washington, DC as an academy intern at Words Beats & Life.
