Senior Spotlight: Eunhae Yuh (BA ’26, history with a minor in secondary education)

“Throughout my time studying history at Illinois, I was pushed to think more deeply about different perspectives. I was able to take courses that highlighted marginalized groups, which reshaped my understanding of history as a whole.  As a future social studies teacher, I hope to bring those perspectives into my classroom by encouraging students to look beyond the Eurocentric view of history, ask meaningful questions, think critically, and connect the past to their own lives.” - Eunhae Yuh
