We are delighted to announce the publication of Volume 2, Issue 1 of the Undergraduate History Journal at Illinois! You can find the link to the newest issue here: Vol. 2 No. 1 (2022): Illinois Undergraduate Journal of History | Illinois Undergraduate Journal of History The issue features work by current UIUC history majors, as well as by recent (May 2022) graduates, on topics ranging from contemporary Japanese urban history to Russian imperialism (pre-modern and contemporary) and race formation in the United States, among others.  

 

The Undergraduate History Journal at Illinois is a history research publication "run by students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign that strives to provide undergraduate students with the opportunity to share their research and gain exposure for their writing. The journal is committed to high standards of writing, a broad sampling of areas of research, and the integrity of academic research."
