Biography
Born and raised in Porto Velho, the capital city of Rondônia, northern Brazil.
Research Interests
Produces research in the area of History of Brazil, with emphasis on the Amazon, concentrating on the First Rubber Outbreak and some of its specificities such as Migration, Labor, Power, Conflicts, Women and the State.
Education
BA in History and Master in History of the Amazon by the Federal University of Rondônia. PhD student in History at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
