Biography

Albert is a third-year history Ph.D. student from Southern California. He holds a BA in History and Art History with an emphasis in Museum Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is interested in Latino Baseball history with a concentrated focus on the Los Angeles Dodgers and how they engage with Los Angeles's significantly large Latino and Chicano demographic. His dissertation is tentatively titled Its Time for Doyer Beisbol: Placetaking and Placemaking in Mexican Los Angeles, 1918-Today.

History of Sports (Baseball), Urban History, Latino/Chicano History, Public History, Transnational History.
