Research Description

I am a Doctoral Candidate with a concentration on Modern U.S. History and a Graduate Minor in Latina/o Studies. My dissertation examines Mexican, Tejano, and Puerto Rican migrant agricultural workers in the postwar Midwest. My research explores the role of race, labor, and culture in shaping Latino migratory communities in the Midwest.
